Illustrated by Grace Lee

This unique book started life as a heartfelt gift from Eliza Sarlos to her son, Arthur. Eliza says, 'I just wanted Arthur to know about the incredible things these amazing women were doing. I didn't want him growing up in a lopsided world when it came to knowing who to respect and admire.'

Amazing Babes is an inspirational picture book for kids and adults featuring strong, powerful, and world-changing women from around the globe and across generations — you'll recognise some, and be delighted to meet the others.

This stunning full-colour book features 20 influential women such as Miles Franklin, the twentieth-century Australian writer and feminist; Emma Goldman, a pioneer of the American women's movement; Aung San Suu Kyi, Burma's pro-democracy leader; Gloria Steinem, one of the founders of modern feminism; and Vandana Shiva, the Indian environmental activist, and includes a biography of each woman.
