Shipping
For orders that need to travel the distance, we ship via a 100% carbon neutral delivery service and within 2-5 working days of receiving your order (excluding holidays).
Postage is $12 flat rate to most metropolitan areas in Australia and includes tracking, however for some regional areas we are sadly unable to offer flat rate shipping. As a small business, we cannot afford shipping costs that far exceed the flat rate and may be in touch to arrange payment for additional shipping costs. We would be happy to cancel and refund your order if you prefer not to proceed with your purchase.
Local Pick-Up (by appointment only)
We offer pickup from Ultimo available by appointment only on weekdays. Once your order is ready, we’ll contact you via email to arrange a convenient time. Please wait for confirmation before coming to collect your order.

Packaging
At Little Modern Reader, we are committed to being as sustainable as possible, even down to how we package and ship our books.
Our eco-friendly packaging includes:
- Recycled brown kraft wrapping paper
- Upcycled cardboard boxes
- Jute & Hemp string
- Plastic-free tape (compostable or paper tape)
Where needed, we use Hero Packaging mailers which are home compostable and made from renewable resources.
In our process of reusing packaging where we can, sometimes you may find bubble wrap, plastic wrap or other materials in our packages. We hope you give these materials a longer life by reusing them in turn, and recycling anything you're unable to reuse.
