The Slumber Party by Margaret Wild

Illustrated by David Cox

Jane invites seven very different friends to her slumber party; and her brother, Tom, and her naughty cousin Brenda come too. It's a wonderful party, with games and a video and purple cupcakes, but of course there are tears and fights as well, and some anxious moments when Jane's pet mouse, Curly, escapes. No wonder Jane's father has a headache!

A lively, colourful picture book about what really happens at a slumber party, with marvellously funny illustrations.
