LARI DON has spent most of her life in Scotland. She is a writer and storyteller who spends much of her time working with schools and festivals throughout Scotland. She has had eight books published, including the First Aid for Fairies trilogy, Tam O'Shanter, The Mountain's Blood and Rocking Horse War. Lari lives in Leith, Edinburgh, with her two children, and two cats called Winnie and Tam Linn.

Célia Chauffrey is a children’s book illustrator who was born and raised in a suburb of Paris. After studying literature, she trained to become a graphic designer at Émile Cohl art school in Lyon, France. Célia has illustrated several books that have been published in Europe.
