Matt de la Pena is the New York Times Bestselling, Newbery Medal-winning author of young adult novels and critically-acclaimed picture books. His short fiction and essays have appeared in the New York Times and various literary journals. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he teaches creative writing.

Christian Robinson is an illustrator, author, animator, and designer based in Oakland, California.
