Silvio Freyttes was born ini Argentina in 1971 and is a popular writer for children throughout the Spanish-speaking world. He is also an award-winning scriptwriter and filmmaker and is currently creative director of an advertising agency.

Flavio Morris is a Brazilian illustrator who studied at the Chelsea School of Arts in London before he became a commercial illustrator in Spain. His illustrations have appeared in many newspapers, books and magazines. He has held numerous solo exhibitions as an artist and sculptor and is particularly renowned for his murals.
